I have over 2,300 hours in Brickadia Alpha--all real (barely any afk because I log out). The demo was a massive disappointment.

Generally it was a step in the right direction. However, there were many many massive flaws in it.

1. No Big Maps

Big maps imported from Alpha did not work properly
Maps took ages to load
Maps used more computer resources than identical maps in Alpha
You get roughly half the FPS by playing the map in Demo (I tested this on DX12, DX11, and Simple Graphics too)
As a result Brickadia City and Brickitect's map were unplayable.
This is directly contrary to the performance we were promised in Zeblote's blog post (What happened?)

2. Rubberbanding

3. Building Was Broken

Resizer did not properly display the size of the brick until after you have finished resizing
Impossible to tell how big your brick is before it was placed
Issue was brought up to the devs yet they chose to not hotfix
Do devs ever build stuff? How was this not noticed?

4. Poor QA Finally Exposed

Lack of real QA came back to really show this time
Simple oversights like no resizer text and right click deleting bricks plainly demonstrates the testers are not taking their job seriously
Many many users with thousands of hours were skipped over for QA for "friends" of devs

5. Vehicles Are Vehicle For A Scam

Vehicles are just broken, they fall over constantly
Vehicles fall over and do not operate properly even on the developer provided maps
Vehicles can't go over 1 plate inclines (contrary to Blockland and Alpha assumptions)
Devs claim that this can't be fixed because of the "realistic" physics, then they post videos on cars riding on walls (How is that realistic exactly?)
