DingoAnanas It is sadly, a shame that some parts of the community have constantly tried to slander Rothary, I, and some more people, into an infernal circle of lies, defamation and others bad things that do not need to be detailed here.
People have to understand that everybody can have bad moments of temper and sometimes do mistakes. Not everyone has to like you, but i do not think i really understand the continuous bashing over the years, long after the initial issues were taken in consideration and eventually fixed with the said parties. I suppose harassing others people online is so easy, individuals feel stronger when in groups.
There is a cult-like following especially among the "nostalgia junkies" who tout Brickadia as the Spiritual Blockland Successor without ever demonstrating what that even means. Usually these people don't even understand how add-ons work. Once a week like clockwork there's someone who randomly opens Blockland again, promotes Brickadia and then I predictably find out they know nothing about how add-ons work. There is an even stranger cohort of people that actually knows how to code (and did so in Blockland) and huffs hopium for Brickadia's non-existent mod system, Coming Soon™.
I am reminded of the map removal cult from Blockland in 2012 -- the developer(s) even joined in or stoked the flames of the infantilization campaign, such as by deeming users who wanted to retain maps and interiors as babies who don't like change.

Free dinner if you can find the "me no like change" caveman image.
So the analog between Blockland's map removal and Brickadia in general would be: adding fancy features that help sell the game in the short term but don't actually create long-term success and popularity.
DingoAnanas One regret i will have is the decision to close the Alpha to external players, it forbide new people from enjoying the game, and i believe the community started to shift into several polarized groups of people, sometimes hating others for reasons they do not even understand anymore. Lets hope Brickadia doesnt end like splitgate 2, because you know...
What's wrong with Splitgate 2? I imagine all the normal consoomer trash that publishers put out?

So you wouldn't be able to privately invite other players to play on your private server? I'm almost willing to draw it up to their not yet developing a policy for a situation like this but they specifically mentioned you won't be able to interact with any online services.
How is a ban permanent if it's meant to only be for the duration Early Access?
I'm laughing so hard because these people will talk endlessly about how Badspot is so horrible but they already managed to make Badspot look like an angel. Usually they say they're mad that there's no global moderation and then we find out, such as in Blockland Rebuilt's case, it's because they want to actually prevent their own users from interacting with people whom they hate. These people aren't adults. (That the Rebuilt sphere overlaps with the Brickadia sphere really makes you think)
One day, we will welcome you back home, Sylvanor.
