The new Port stuff isn't even really worth discussing. Definitely a weird event that obviously doesn't look good, but I can imagine that there was probably some behind the scenes discussion on the situation before removing Port regardless of if it was reported. With that being said, they definitely do take punitive actions against people with these same behaviors as evident with the recent banning of an individual for ultra spicy artwork that was found completely off-platform and unrelated to Brickadia. (IYKYK, I will not be further elaborating on this besides referring to it for discussion as needed.)
There's obviously a nuanced inconsistency or oversight here with what Brickbot had said to me via modmail: "our rules do not apply to external communities," which is highlighted in the video. But, it would be absolutely remiss of us all to not admit that it's very impractical to expect there to be an explicit guideline listed in #fair-play-rules stated on having pdf file-adjacent kinks outside of Brickadia, and they have been quite painfully adamant on keeping any kinds of shit off the public server list and discord.
Just wish the Nazi rumors would stop going around as well as stop trying to involve other popular servers like Rockwell in them. If there was proof of hate swastika spam and Nazi sympathy it would absolutely be everywhere by this point, not heard through statements coming from the same group of people as well as proven wrong by years of testifiable political discussion. It also would have been at LEAST hinted at in the EU/Japan GDPR/APPI data reports. There has been ample opportunity and time for ANYBODY really to release proof of these accusations with proper context. None to this day.
My final commentary to my post will be this. I've tried to be as objective as possible about everything along with Rothary. I can only defend Dingo on the transphobia/homophobia so much due to personally knowing them for over 10 years and helping me navigate the feelings of growing up while gay during that time. But he has openly stated (and even with broken English being the case), some very unsatisfactory things about his local gay community due to his own experiences that have been justifiably taken out of context with how bluntly it is stated, and unfortunately has had some ignorantly petty and hostile transactions with some trans users undergoing changes in their identity which happened to also translate in game. Nothing ever really to the extent of explicit transphobia like "**** trans ppl d*e" or anything like that but there was undeniably disingenuous invalidation shown to those users by Dingo fueled even more by the tension on both sides. I don't think Dingo should have been game banned… Rothary even less so, and there is definitely a discussion to be had about censorship…but I certainly don't think anybody can or should pretend that all of this isn't just an unfortunate case of consequence of actions. Unfortunately, only here and select discords would allow such free discussion.
