Edit: i have been made aware by someone that more people shit talked about me on the steam review system. Since i am still banned from the steam thing (also the discord but lets not talk about that now), i feel the need to answer to a player named "Ykulvaarlck".
This is the original review, from someone called "Dom":

Early Access Review
i've been following brickadia since 2018 and was apart of the first group of testers for 0.3/alpha 3 and i've been playing blockland for a large part of my life in which i have just under 4,000 hours of playtime, and that isn't including my non-steam hours. it's a game that i love, and i would love even more so to see its insane potential realized, to see the formula improved upon and modernized. i was incredibly hyped for years, i am absolutely someone who should find a lot of appeal in a game like brickadia, but i am unable to.
a feature that i've always looked forwards to quite literally ever since the beginning is mod support. it's something that's been repeatedly promised for a very long time which sounds great! an amazing game like this should absolutely have mod support, surely after many years of development with repeated reassurances to the community that mod support is well on its way soon means that it really is well on its way soon!
mod support does not exist. it has never existed. not in any form ever. NOTHING has ever been shown in regards to it ever being in the works ever since they begun to promise it starting in 2018. you might be in the minority of people who don't particularly care for mods, and that is fair and valid, but i don't think it can just be truly understated just how much of a disappointment and betrayal this is to everybody and just how much it cripples the potential and longevity the game might've had if it was a reality. if it was the expectation set from the beginning that there will be no plans for mod support, that would have been acceptable. it still would have been disappointing, considering how much a game like brickadia would benefit from it and especially more so considering blockland had such an emphasis on modding, but it would have been acceptable.
what isn't acceptable is leading on the entire community with what are essentially lies for 7 years.
things have changed a little bit recently, they've pivoted to a sort of anti-mod api stance, they've watered down their promises to only custom assets (e.g. models, audio, textures, etc.) with no plans for a modding api. they have this idea that their wires and behaviors systems will be able to do everything that a modding api would be able to do, which you might be inclined to believe them on, but it i expect it's only another false promise to be disappointed by again. there is no doubt in my mind that wires and behaviors are and will be extremely capable of doing many things, but with their limitations and strange design decisions, it would be a complete farce to compare it to being as capable as what conventional modding tools could do. i'll end this part with a quote from a developer about the future of mod support:

pedophiles. one of the most universally hated things in the world. you would think that this hatred would also apply equally within brickadia, a cutesy lego building game that very clearly would and does attract many minors to it. oh boy. you really would think that, you would really hope to be able to think that, wouldn't you?
a developer for brickadia was exposed for grooming a minor in the community and 2 core developers who are married to each other were exposed for drawing disgustingly explicit 'art' depicting very young children, and having a self admitted interest in what they specifically referred to as hebephilia (a sexual preference to 11-14 year old children), and lolicon and shotacon.
you would expect such incidents to be dealt with immediately and with transparency, but this was not the case for the three developers exposed. in the case of the first developer, when they left following the expose, the rest of the team did not inform the community about the fact they literally groomed an underage player in the community and silenced any discussion surrounding it. this is at best, extremely negligent of them, leaving potential minors and adults alike vulnerable to interacting with them without being aware of what they did, and at worst a malicious cover up to protect one of their buddies. they eventually did come out a month later after the fact with an announcement, and even this they managed to ♥♥♥♥ it up by claiming they didn't do it earlier because they "did not believe that their actions were directed to anyone on the platform" which i seriously doubt this, as the minor was an active and recognisable member of the community. again which is at the very least extreme negligence on their part.
in the case of the two married developers, the lead developer was informed about them privately and had acknowledged it. nothing happened, what it took was a public document to be released a month after they were informed detailing both of their activities before only one of them was removed (it's kind of a bad document, but its sources and details are true). only one of them was removed despite being as equally guilty with much evidence. why the selectivity there i don't really understand. this time, they did actually come out with an immediate response, but it needs to be remember this was a month after they had already been informed about it. ??? what were they doing in that month? i think this is inexcusable. if you are someone who doesn't think that what those two developers did was wrong, i think you are extremely mistaken and disgusting for it, but i hope that you should at least be able to recognise nobody like that should ever be interacting with minors, let alone be a figurehead of a community which has minors.
this was all a while ago, 2020 and 2021 respectively. this time passage has been used for a long time by defenders, "it's old news old drama who cares blah blah they dealt with it move on" but the one developer that wasn't removed, well wasn't removed and stuck around for a while after it. eventually, they did leave, or were removed, it's unclear. should be end of story, right?
SOMEHOW, remarkably this controversy still manages to remain relevant today; yesterday this developer joined the brickadia discord and was met with a very warm welcome and greetings from moderators and developers. wtf?? after people obviously reacted to this with confusion and negativity they banned them (and then deleted all messages interacting with them!). ok, that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. they shouldn't be treating them like a friend. but again remarkably they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up AGAIN with one of their moderators calling their pedophilic behavior to be "bad decision-making" ?????????? whauhawhat??????
i really wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it ever came out that the entire team was still on good terms with the pedophiles if not still letting them work with them in some part on brickadia.
i've gone on far too long and i still have so much more to talk about, namely two pretty well known and liked players being permanently banned from playing the game literally because the developers and moderators didn't like them and just brickwalled them, and so many more qualms i have with brickadia. but i hope my frustration and the problems with the game and developers has been made clear and hopefully opened the eyes of some. if you're still considering buying the game despite all of this, i can say it is an extremely steep price for an unfinished and frankly as of right now a boring game. if you played the next fest demo and didn't think it was good enough yet, the current product is almost identical to the demo so i wouldn't bother, at least hold off for one or two years. buyer beware.
Then this was the answer:

I wanted to tell you, Sir: that you need to stop lying, once again, about shit you know nothing about. I have never harassed anyone, and the devs themselves never said i harassed any family members of them. Its because of idiots like you that people hate each others and that unecessary slander keep spreading toward the community. You are one of theses people that make people leave games for no reasons. You are a toxic person. Defaming people is something NOT right to do.
It seems that ANT/Rothary also tried to contact you to explain the situation to you, and you just ignored his messages. How can you even try to understand a situation if people who want to actually TRY to explain it to you cant talk to you. "I dont read his messages coz he obviously" bad, just make you look like a child and an immature person.
In case you ever find this post by any way, this is Rothary answer to you.

Please, grow.
