Khaz I did talk to the team, they straight up told me I wouldn't be unbanned, I asked nicely, and they won't do it. They have lied to me, to you, and to everyone. They refuse to unban me for reasons outside of the game, outside of the discord, outside of anywhere that would actually fucking matter.
I want to play and I fucking can't cause the devs have just lied to me about the unbans.

I hate that the devs do all this bullshit of banning people, threating permanent bans, doing permanent bans, literally fucking lying about everything they talked about undoing. And its just "Oh its fine, long live brickadia" after you get your win and unban.
This is so fucking stupid, I wanna play the game, but I fucking can't cause of these actually authoritarian shit devs. [Moderated]

I'm glad they resolved your issue, Dingo. That waaaay crossed the line. While I hope they can move past this, correct their mistakes and never make these mistakes again, resolve issues about users being banned for having Social Media with adult content on it, and have complete transparency moving forward - I hope for all this - this line really undermines that hope:

however, IIRC, the user who was banned for that did happen. Unless I'm only hearing second-hand stories, this was a big thing, was it not? So saying it NEVER was the case seems really odd and undermines their entire point if thats the case.

I'm glad the team is moving in the right direction. I hope they keep moving in the right direction. I just sometimes get disappointed they need to move in the right direction at all (that they're not already fully in the right direction from the beginning).

I hope this place can still be a good counterbalance for their centralization model though. Regardless of these good changes, moving or allowing more decentralized systems it the best thing for games like these.

zombie_striker It would be nice for this forum to be an alternative more adult-friendly public channel of Brickadia. It's a good opportunity for this to become another place for resources and discussion of Brickadia that doesn't necessarily have official connection and isn't so restrictive of topics whatever they might be. Though I would also point out that discussion and the behavior of potential subcommunities on here should generally remain family-friendly/non-toxic just with the nature of the game and obviously never devolve into something the likes of Blockland Forums.

A good example of this is the MMO-Champion forums for World of Warcraft. No official ties to the game or Blizzard, but a very professionally handled environment for on/off-topic discourse catered to ages 17+

I'm writing this on a anonymous account to avoid getting banned in BCC, but the admins there literally kick or mute anyone talking shit about brickadia because of the "no drama" rule yet they let Exit do the same.

One of their mods electrk stated that port wasn't removed for any negative reason yet they state this.

Because we have since tightened our safeguards, we quickly decided to ban Port due to their close association with Evar, whom we banned in 2020 for sharing sexualized drawings of minors.

I do not understand. Once we got unbanned the first time the devs and mods joined and said eveything was good, we even got a nice chat. I remember saying people it was a bit too easy, and sadly i was right.

I even considered changing my steam eval to positive and remove all the things in it but i guess it will stay.

its not like i need the discord (look, dont we have a nice forum??? i am glad this exists, heh), but i think its not very honest to join my server, say all is fine, then keep you banned, without, again, communicating on why.

I dont need to be more vocal/try to contact the team, at this point i think it make no sense, but i wanted to share my opinon on this.

Imagine losing all read access to the entire game's ecosystem and community (I don't think the average Brickadian is intelligent enough to use the web) because the moderators don't want you there. Personally I reject all communities and projects that revolve around Discord because they're not going to have the longevity I desire and it reflects on the leaders' inabilities and lack of forward-thinking.

It really sucks you're forced to go negative or positive with reviews. No 25%, 50% or 75% approval. You're either a diehard fanboy or a hater.
