Leon and the Leonids - A brief story of the Brickadia mascot
By popular demand i shall create a threat that will tell everyone the story behind the Fluffy doggo everyone know and love under the beloved name of Leon.
The origins of Leon
Long ago in a now dead game called Blockland, ANT (in Brickadia @Rothary ) and Sylvanor ( @DingoAnanas , me), were building a a large city called Brickadia City (go figure).
Rothary was often annoying Sylvanor by hidding little funny pink valves in the city, and in others builds thery were doing in general (some are still yet to be found apparently), and then someday ANT decided to place a funny white dog he did.
When we moved to Brickadia in mid 2017, we kept building the city and ANT remade the dog and it became more or less the shape people do know it today.

I made it as a continuation of my years long tradition of hiding white doggos around sylvanor's (dingo's) builds for him to find on blockland well before brickadia was even a concept
the BL design relied on smallbricks which brickadia didnt have, so i had to come up with a new design (this was well before microbricks)
i also made a giant one with big bushy angry eyebrows on brickadia city, which dingo immediately named Leon, after Leonid Brezhnev, because the eyebrows reminded dingo of him

As ANT said, i named the dog LEON in around 2019 (maybe earlier) by placing a giant Leon statue in some random sksycraper of the city and naming it after the communist leader of Ussr Leonid Brezhnev, because it made me think of it.

And then two modfifications, the addition of the eyes and then the tail, some months later
ANT created the dog, i created the lore.
The fame and decadence of Leon
People who came on our server started to notice this cute dog, and i think ANT did spread it by placing it on some others servers as a signature of his presence.
It became more and more popular. Some moment later, it was probably around 2020, we asked Sixmorphius if he could add the petting emoji of Leon officially and i insisted for it to be named LEON.
It was a mistake and the point of no return.
Everyone started building (incorrectly ofc) Leon and building it on every existing server.
It surely was becoming the game mascot.
So many people used it that it lost its original use:

Basically leon was supposed to be a sort of "rothary was here" signature, but at this point its so overused that few people even know I created it, so leon is practically dead for me and I dont build em anymore cos the identity is gone*
The Leonids
Leon has some relatives that do live in the misty cold mountain called Mount Leonid in brickadia city, called The Leonids. They define themselves as a gang of Mini Leons that wander around the mountain with no real goal.
It is said they are defending a secret but nobody has found anything about it.
We do not know their names, they never told about it and they like to keep theirs business a secret thing.
Leonpold and Lev
leon also has a german cousin named Leopold (or as dingo calls him Leonpold), featured in dev media ages ago cos funny, as well as a siberian cousin called Lev who lives in dingo's winter cabin
The future of Leon?
After the ban of Rothary and Dingo Ananas in 2024, it was apparently said Leon will be removed from the EA version.
It appears the devs do not understand the obvious interest in having such a funny thing as their game mascot. its ok anyway, because too many people now love Leon and he will be in our hearts forever.
He will keep living his life with his friends on the servers and Brickadia City will always be his true home.

ANT made some guide because he was displeased by how people did always build Leon the wrong way (Pay attention: It doesnt use micro bricks).
