My Brickadia City Builds

A couple of people wanted to know what I've been up to the past few years. I haven't done much building in public servers in a while. This is only because I'm waiting for EA features and big servers aren't really a thing right now. Inspiration is hard to come by these days while waiting. When I see big servers with lots of people on them, I tend to get inspired and motivated to build, since urban stuff is my favorite. The past couple of years I've been doing some interiors for Brickadia City whenever I have free time. So far I've got around 15-20 interiors here and there. Some are small places, other's are just regular shops and businesses. I also did a couple of apartments.

The first one I'll show off is Cafe Leblanc.

Cafe Leblanc

This first one I think is my most recent--Cafe Leblanc. Inspired by the same Cafe in Persona 5. One of my all-time favorite games. Here's the outside.

The inside has a coffee bar and booths. Food may also be served here but the menu is limited.

In the back is the restroom, a tiny bedroom office for the owner, and upstairs apartments.

This computer room used to be a part of a much different project. Something like an underground laboratory. It was heavily inspired by the Swan Station from the TV show LOST. I loved it so much I had to reuse it somewhere.

Next up is the apartment building Le Apts Grandiose. For this one, I strove to make a fully-functioning apartment block that people could add to in the future. Something like that is a little hard in Brickadia City because of the scaling. For now, the top floor is fully functional. In other words, this is a building you can walk in the front door and take the stairs all the way up to the apartment.

Now for inside the apartment itself. Here we have a standard hallway entrance for an apartment or condo this size (roughly 600-800 sq ft here). First door on the right is a bedroom (pretty big for its size), second is the bathroom. Living room and kitchen are at the end of the hall.

Last to be shown off is the living room. No pics of the bedroom or kitchen for now (it could use some work). Virtually all the furniture in here I took from a 2006 IKEA catalog book.

Brickadia City and Its Nomenclature

Brickadia City is a huge area. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of where certain things are. To give a little context for each of these builds I'm going to refer to a map I made of BR City. Dingo might have his own naming convention but this is typically what I use to keep track of things.

Cafe Leblanc is located in the City Center, very close to spawn.

Apartment is located in Admin District, just near the French Building and large park right behind it. There's also a subway station nearby.

These next couple of builds are right in the same area. These next couple are a mash up from servers gone by.

Game Zone

A retro gaming store. Filled with records, old game systems, and CRT TVs. Originally from Duke's City Server (2021). With help from Brickitect and numerous others. The build lives on.

Libre Books

A quaint book store. Paintings by made by their respective owners.

Today: A brief excursion into China Town

Ming Lao

A chain of corner stores operating in the more densely populated parts of the city. I should build more of these. Here you can get most of what you need, use the ATM, grab a drink, buy cigarettes, or even lotto tickets.

Just a small simple place. My favorite part was doing the outside and the signage. You can even see ads for the stores on some of the highway billboards.

Next door is China Town PC Repair. They are using a relatively big property for China Town. They really need all that space. Who knows, there may even be secrets there to uncover? 😉

Inside you will find the lobby, complete with several 2000s era computers and televisions, and other various tech junk (one man's trash is another man's treasure).

Workstations in the back to repair the customers' computers. Just make sure you don't venture too far back there (Employees Only) (No Trespassing).

Hi-Tech PLLC

Hi-Tech is a law firm that works closely with big tech companies. They specialize in corporate affairs, as well as complicated intellectual property and securities laws. Located in the Admin District next to Le Apts Grandiose.

The location is very much prime real estate. You get a mix of large skyscraper views with the more comfortable and laid-back admin district area. Parks and shops are just a short walk down the street.

When you walk in the front door you get a nice neoclassical-inspired lobby. On the left and right are doors for the lower floors (never completed). Up the stairs gets you into Hi-Tech. Credits to Dingo Ananas and Rothary for helping me with the wallpaper. This one was hard to get a good picture of because of the narrowness of the room. It looks better in person.

In theory each floor here could have its own office space, I designed it to match the outside perfectly. Originally I was going to fill the entire building.

On the main floor guests and employees are greeted with a huge screen displaying local news and weather. Security is pretty serious here. Be prepared to scan your eye to get in (unless you're a guest).

The globe map implies an Indian Ocean or South East Asia location for the island Brickadia City. (Although it has never been confirmed where the actual location is). (Maybe it can just be a rotating globe if I'm wrong).

Take note of the ceilings here. This was fun stuff to design. It's a bit too modern for my taste though. By the end of it I was worn out of making office interiors (lol). That's why only the main floor is accessible. Everything past the security doors is for show.
