There is a cozy feeling to something that is this niche. I've held on to the idea that Brickadia isn't strictly a building game, but a glorified chatroom with building. I'm concerned with what voicechat will do to that. I feel like it is the same as a small town where everybody knows eachother which has its benefits but also drawbacks. I believe having more players won't stop the game from being cozy, because if you look at the server list right now there are more servers to play on than there are players, and if players populated the servers instead, the servers themselves would become the communities, not the entire game.
You wouldn't say you're involved with the entire minecraft community because that would require you either be a public figure that is known amongst alot of people who play minecraft. More realistically you'd involve yourself in the sub-communities of servers you can pick and choose from based on taste. SMP, anarchy, minigames. This is what I would like brickadia to be. My point here is that the deep engagement can still happen on a populated game.
